A Clydebank and Milngavie MSP is emphasising the support available to those seeking further education as Scottish students await their exam results.
Marie McNair, SNP MSP, is highlighting SNP support designed to allow “all those seeking further education opportunities to seize them.”
Despite tuition fees in England and Wales now reaching £9535 per year, in Scotland, university education is free for all Scottish students.

Care-experienced students can also benefit from additional support worth up to £11,400.
Since 2008, more than £100 million has been allocated to support modern and foundation apprenticeships, creating around 400,000 opportunities for young people nationwide.
Marie McNair said: "In Labour-run England and Wales, tuition fees and student debt are mounting.
"But here in Clydebank and Milngavie, students can attend university for free, with extra support for those who need it as well as funding for alternative pathways.
"We are making more opportunities available to young people while the Labour Party lumps costs on the next generation.
"That’s the difference made with the SNP in government."
