Clearing work began on the site, on West Thomson Street, in September 2024 when the former medical building was flattened.
Now, West Dunbartonshire Council, which bought the centre in June 2023 from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, have plans to turn it into family houses, cottage flats and 27 sheltered flats for older people.
New details on the proposal show artists' impressions of what the properties could look like.

As well as 2 one-bedroom ground-floor flats, 2 three-bedroom upper duplexes and 27 one-bed sheltered housing flats.
There also are plans for 45 parking spaces.

The estimated start date is in October this year, with construction to be completed by December 2026.

West Dunbartonshire Council & Collective Architecture have arranged for a community consultation on the proposals.
