A DRUMCHAPEL woman has displayed her love to the community with a huge garden display of lights and inflatables.
Sandra Lee Myles is well known for going all out with her home and garden décor to mark Halloween and Christmas, with her house on Kinfauns Drive becoming a main attraction on local kids' trick-or-treat route.

Sandra revealed that her celebration of love began with some online shopping.

“Because I thought it was cute, I bought it. Then I thought 'I'll put some lights out with that'. That started it by accident.”

She also rotates her decorations in and out on a yearly basis to try and create a different experience every year.

Sandra decorates for many occasions throughout the year, with her schedule beginning at New Year’s.

However, Sandra also revealed that she will be running a new event this year.
She explained: “The next one's Easter. That's going to be the first year I've done an Easter display in Drumchapel.
“I’ve usually done my Easter display down in Ayr at my caravan but this year we're at home.
“I'm going to treat the community to a wee Easter egg hunt in the garden.”
Sandra once had a closed gate policy but with the number of locals wanting to have a look, she now allows them to visit on the date of the holiday itself, and this includes the Valentine’s display before she takes everything down on Sunday.
She said: “I'll have the gate open today at 4pm. I've got the swing done up with the roses, and people can sit in it under the tunnel.
“So, if folk want to come in and sit and get pictures taken, they're welcome to come in.”
