TWO Clydebank businesses were broken into yesterday morning.
Premises in Dalmuir and Hardgate were targeted in the early hours of Tuesday, August 20.
Cash and IT equipment were reportedly stolen.
CCTV and local enquiries made by the police identified people within a Volkswagen Golf vehicle as allegedly being responsible.
Around midday, the vehicle was captured being driven erratically in Edinburgh and the driver allegedly failed to stop for police.
Police pursued the vehicle and continued to chase after the suspects through nearby motorways and residential areas.
The vehicle was then stopped in Bellshill. Three males, a 20-year-old from Clydebank and a 16 and 21-year-old from Glasgow were arrested.
Evidence was gathered from the vehicle which is believed to be connected to the two break-ins that morning.
The men are being charged with several alleged offences including theft by housebreaking, driving while disqualified, failing to stop for police, failing to report an accident, having no insurance, dangerous driving and possession of drugs.
All suspects will appear in court today.
