A DRUMCHAPEL comedian has opened up on his "hectic" Edinburgh Festival Fringe schedule.
Iain MacDonald is currently performing at month-long event for the third time, putting on over 70 shows up until the end of August.
The Fringe is the world's largest performance arts festival which features tens of thousands of different performances across 25 days.
And Iain, who is also a college lecturer, detailed the different performances he is involved in.
"Things have been very hectic so far but also really enjoyable," he said.
"I am doing three shows at the Fringe this year and things have been going really well so far.
"They have been played to mostly full rooms which has been great.
"'Around the World in 80 Puns' is my main show which involves jokes from around the world.
"The second show I am doing is the 'UK Pun Off' which I host and have been involved in since the pandemic.
"I have also been doing 'Comedy Bingo' which has been really popular."

Iain has been doing all three shows most days since the festival started at the beginning of the month.
He admits that while it has been a challenge juggling the schedule with his responsibilities at work, it is all worthwhile,
"I am regularly jumping back and forth," he continued.
"It has been tiring but also rewarding. The Edinburgh Fringe is a bit unique in the respect of how busy the performers are.
"My solo show is usually set in terms of the content but I do try to include audience participation to keep things fresh."
