A MAN caught with a knife in Clydebank has been ordered to do unpaid work in the community.
Edward Donnelly, of Inchrory Place, Drumchapel, previously admitted having possession of the item on May 24, 2022.
The incident happened in Montrose Street, Clydebank.
Donnelly, 20, returned to Dumbarton Sheriff Court on June 25 after he had been ordered to be of good behaviour.
The court confirmed he had been behaving, and was under supervision for another matter for a number of months still.
Sheriff Maxwell Hendry said: "This is a very positive report. You have started to make good decisions instead of stupid decisions. You have turned things around."
He ordered Donnelly to do 150 hours of unpaid work in the community as a punishment.
