AN investigation is underway after vandals smashed windows at premises in Clyde Shopping Centre.

Officers were made aware of the incident, along with vandalism at other properties in the surrounding area, on Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2.

Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and officers are appealing for witnesses.

Community policing sergeant Andy Brand said: “These are mindless acts of vandalism and we’re doing all we can to trace those responsible.

“I’m appealing to anyone who saw this happening or has any information to contact us.

“If you have doorbell footage, private CCTV or dashcam of the area around the time, please review this and bring anything to our attention which could assist our investigation.”
