TWO cars have been set on fire at separate locations across a three-hour period in West Dunbartonshire.
The first fire happened around 11.45pm on Saturday, May 4 when a white Ford Transit was set on fire in Lennox Drive in Clydebank.
The second happened around 2.45am on Sunday, May 5 at a commercial premises on Back Street in Renton.
Police believe both incidents are linked.
Detective Sergeant Barry Convery said: “Deliberately starting fires is extremely dangerous and it is fortunate that no one was hurt in these incidents which are being treated as linked.
“We are asking anyone with any information to come forward as soon as possible in order to assist with our ongoing enquiries.”
