A DRIVER 'faces a day in court' after they were allegedly clocked travelling at more than 100mph on a busy road.
Officers from Police Scotland's Road Policing Unit in Dumbarton pulled the motorist over on the A82 - between Clydebank and Tarbet - on Monday morning.
Cops said they stopped the vehicle after it was reportedly detected speeding "well in excess" of 100mph.
A second driver was also stopped for speeding on this stretch of road during the same morning.
A statement published to Road Policing Scotland's X [formerly Twitter] account reads: "It was an early rise for Dumbarton Road Police today [April 8]. Before 7am two drivers had been stopped for speeding on the A82.
"One of them was detected travelling well in excess of 100mph and now faces a day in court."
