A MAN has been arrested after an alleged break-in at a property in Knightswood.
Officers responded to the Caldwell Avenue area shortly before midnight on Monday, April 8, following reports of a theft.
Police said enquiries were then carried out which led to the arrest of a 45-year-old man.
He was charged in connection and was due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 11.45pm on Monday, April 8, 2024, we received a report of a theft by housebreaking at a property in the Caldwell Avenue area of Glasgow.
“Enquiries were carried out and a 45-year-old man was arrested and charged. He was due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.”
