BANKIES are being warned that stretches of a busy road in Whitecrook are set to close twice next month.
West Dunbartonshire Council (WDC) confirmed the closures on its website, both of which will take place on North Elgin Street.
The first will be in force from 8am to 4.30pm on April 8. It is noted that the restrictions could be in place between these hours for up to five days.
It will see North Elgin Street shut to traffic from its junction with Glasgow Road (A814) to its junction with Jane Rae Gardens.
The road will also close from its kerb line with Jane Rae Gardens to its junction with Barns Street and East Barns Street.
This is to facilitate resurfacing works.
The second closure will take place on the same two stretches of road from 8am to 4.30pm on April 15.
The local authority again noted that the restrictions could be in place for up to five days.
Emergency service vehicles, pedestrians, and local access will be maintained during these periods.
