NEARLY 120 anti-social behaviour warnings have been issued to people across West Dunbartonshire since the start of the year.
In the past three months, West Dunbartonshire Council’s anti-social behaviour team (ASBT) has served 117 of these notices to those found to be acting in an anti-social manner.
Court proceedings have been raised by the council against two individuals with one tenant evicted and another issued with an anti-social behaviour order (ASBO).
Meanwhile, 27 notices of proceedings for the recovery of possession have been sent out. It is noted that this is the first step in the eviction process.
The local authority states that its ASBT will continue to be proactive and reactive in communities on behalf of tenants and residents.
The service is available seven days a week and can be contacted on 01389 772048 or by emailing ASBTeam@west-dunbarton.gov.uk.
ASBT operation hours
- Monday to Friday between 8.45am and 2am.
- Saturday and Sunday between 3pm and 2am.
Out with these hours, residents are urged to contact police via 101 or 999 in an emergency.
