DRIVERS are being warned that a busy road in Clydebank could close for up to five days.
West Dunbartonshire Council announced the closure on its website.
Faifley Road will shut to traffic on March 24.
The closure will be in place at the road’s junction with Auchinleck Road.
It is understood that this is to allow Scottish Water to carry out ironwork repairs in the area.
The council notes that restrictions may only be applied in part as and when signed/required and will be kept to a minimum.
During this time emergency service access will be maintained as well as local and pedestrian access.
A diversion route will be in place.
Diversion:
Faifley Road to the A810 Glasgow Road to Faifley Road and vice versa.
