A MAN was seriously injured after he was attacked in broad daylight in Knightswood.
Officers responded to Polnoon Avenue at around 3.45pm on Thursday following reports of a disturbance.
Police said a 51-year-old man had been assaulted and suffered "serious injuries".
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Cops confirmed they are investigating the incident and that enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of a disturbance on Polnoon Avenue in Glasgow around 3.45pm on Thursday, February 22.
“A 51-year-old man was assaulted and suffered serious injuries which required hospital treatment.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
