A BUSY Clydebank road remains closed due to a burst water main.
Buses have been diverted away from Chalmers Street after a stretch of the road was shut off over the weekend to repair an issue with a pipe.
Scottish Water - the national supplier - hopes to have the road open again to traffic on Monday and thanked locals for their patience.
A spokesperson said: "A road closure is currently in place on a stretch of Chalmers Street, Clydebank following a repair to a burst 10-inch water main.
"The repair was carried out over the weekend and the road traffic management will be lifted as soon as it is safe to do so.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank residents and road users for their patience and understanding."
The Clydebank Post understands the burst main did not impact water supplies in the area.
