TWO busy train lines have fully reopened after Storm Gerrit caused travel chaos across West Dunbartonshire yesterday.

ScotRail confirmed that services have now resumed on the route between Dumbarton/Dalmuir and Helensburgh/Balloch following earlier safety checks.

It comes after trains travelling in the region were subject to delays and cancellations as the country experienced heavy rain and snow.
