KIND-HEARTED customers at a former Clydebank bank have donated their remaining balances to a local hospice after its closure earlier this year.
The Municipal Bank, situated in Sylvania Way South, shut for good on March 31 after 100 years of serving the town.
Following the closure customers asked for the remaining balances within their accounts to be donated to a local charity.
The bank’s board of directors sent £350.67 TO St Margaret’s Hospice which is the oldest and largest hospice in Scotland.
It has supported many families across West Dunbartonshire since 1950.
