A membership organisation which promotes, represents and supports West Dunbartonshire business is getting set for its main event of the year with the announcement of its Christmas lunch.

The annual Dunbartonshire Chamber of Commerce festive shindig will take place at its usual setting at the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel on Friday, December 8.

The lunch is one of the highlights of the Dunbartonshire business calendar and offers guests the opportunity to join directors, members and other businesses to network and celebrate the business year.

The event has also received backing from Clydebank-based, facilities management company, Sectorserve Group, who are the headline sponsor as well as from event sponsor, SkyAdsmart, and the conference hotel itself.

And chamber chief executive Damon Scott revealed he can’t wait for the day.

He said: “We are delighted with the positive response we have had for this year’s lunch and are looking forward to a great event.

“We are incredibly grateful to the Sectorserve Group who have come on board as our headline sponsor, to our event partner - the Golden Jubilee Conference Hotel, and to our event sponsor - SkyAdsmart.

“As a not-for-profit organisation sponsorship of this kind is really important to help support our ongoing work.”

Emma Armstrong, director at Sectorserve added: “We are really keen to support the activities of the Chamber and recognise the positive impact these make on the local economy and communities. The Christmas lunch provided a great opportunity to align Sectorserve with this celebration of the business year and to raise our own profile.”

Mr Scott reminded businesses there is still time to book their table and pointed out it was a great way to say thank you to your hardworking employees.

He finished: “Both members and non-members can book right up to the day before.

“The lunch is ideal for rewarding teams at Christmas or, for smaller companies, being part of a Christmas celebration with other members of the business community, making connections and re-connecting with existing contacts”.
