A KNIGHTSWOOD primary school insist its first-ever art exhibition will be a celebration of the creativity of its young people.
Work completed by the upper school of Bankhead Primary will be on display at the area's community centre on Tuesday, December 5.
The gallery, titled Knightswood: Nature, Faces and Place will include drawings, paintings and sculptures around the theme of Knightswood, including its architecture, green spaces and the young people who live there.
All were created by kids from primary five to seven and teacher turned exhibition curator Alice Butterworth explained the youngsters cannot wait.
She told the Clydebank Post: "It's a wonderful opportunity to see how the young people reflect on their surroundings and we hope having a public exhibition will boost their confidence as young artists.
"Art is the one subject where success is possible for all and especially post-Covid, this is more important than ever."
The Bankhead show will run inside Knightswood Community Centre between 4.15pm and 6.15pm on December 5.
