Yes, we are now officially celebrating the Christmas season.

The ‘most wonderful time of the year’ is here as 2023 comes to a close with festive fun, family and fireplace snuggles.

However, when one year ends another begins and for many, changes are made, resolutions are broken and a new corner in life is turned.

There aren’t too many life events bigger than moving home and the approaching new year might be enticing you to consider that change and this week’s Property of the Week could be the one to seal the deal for you.

Located in Old Kilpatrick, this semi-detached two-bedroom villa has so much going for it that you will be picturing yourself relaxing in the cosy living room, cooking in the brand-new kitchen and enjoying a drink within the garden room as the seasons pass in 2024.

Accessed via a small entrance vestibule, you are instantly greeted with the smart-looking and modern lounge, a bright space with a recently completed and striking media wall and accompanying LED lighting.

The kitchen, to the rear, has only recently been fully upgraded to a high standard to include a combination of wall and floor-mounted units with an integrated eye-level oven, halogen hob and hood, integrated fridge freezer, integrated washer dryer and a breakfast bar.

From here, patio doors open up to give access to the private rear garden.

But before we head there, upstairs, there are two double bedrooms, each with mirror-fronted fitted wardrobes.

The family bathroom comprises a modern three-piece suite with a fitted vanity unit, waterfall shower over the bath, chrome towel radiator and spacious linen cupboard offering essential storage.

Finally, out to the rear garden is where we will find the garden room, a welcome bonus that comes with the home and one that is perfect for entertaining.

Currently used as a bar and music room, this space can be anything you wish, a home office, a gym or just a room to sit back with the doors open and enjoy the three weeks of summer we will get in May 2024.

At the front, the monobloc driveway has space for two vehicles meaning there is no need to fight for any on-street parking.
