ENGINEERS are currently working to repair a water pipe in Clydebank after it burst earlier today.
The affected main is located on Melbourne Avenue.
Scottish Water confirmed that the burst has caused some localised flooding as well as disruption to local residents' supplies.
A Scottish Water spokesperson said: “We are currently on site in Melbourne Avenue, Clydebank dealing with a burst on a 4-inch water main.
"This has led to an interruption to normal supplies for some customers in the area and has caused some localised flooding.
"We are working to restore normal supplies and get things back to normal as quickly as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank the local community for their patience and understanding.”
It comes after we previously reported that buses travelling through the area were being diverted via Mountblow Road from Perth Crescent due to the issue.
