A MERCEDES driver has been reported after allegedly driving on an expired licence.
Officers stopped the 27-year-old motorists earlier this morning in the Hardgate area.
Cops then found out the man was driving on an expired licence.
Following this, his insurance company were informed and they cancelled his policy, while his motor was seized and he was reported to court.

A spokesperson for Road's Policing Scotland said: "Dumbarton Road's Policing stopped this Mercedes this morning in Hardgate and found that the driver was driving on an expired licence.
"Once the insurance company were informed, they cancelled the policy.
"Vehicle seized, and the 27-year-old male driver reported to court."
