BANKIES are being warned of travel chaos as a number of train services in the area have been cancelled.

Earlier this morning ScotRail announced the electricity supply to the overhead lines at Partick had failed causing trains running through this station to be disrupted.

As a result, a host of services from Dalmuir, Singer, and Clydebank have been cancelled.

It is understood that the issue at Partick is currently being investigated and that updates will be provided via ScotRail's social media pages.

The rail operator has since confirmed that a bus replacement service will run from Dalmuir via Yoker to Glasgow Central and from Glasgow Central to Dalmuir via Yoker.
