IT was all smiles over the weekend as a toy retailer in Clydebank celebrated its first birthday.
Smyths Toys, located in Kilbowie Retail Park, threw a party on Saturday to mark one year in the town.
The event saw young Bankies flock to the store in the hopes of meeting and getting a picture with some special guests including Pokemon’s Pikachu, Play Doh’s Doh Doh, and Smyths’ mascot Oscar.
Little ones and their parents, carers, and guardians were also treated to face painting, candy floss, free giveaways, and a live DJ.
Marissa Wilson, who is a supervisor at the Clydebank store, said: “There was a great turnout to see the characters.
“It was definitely our busiest day in a while and the kids loved seeing Pikachu, Doh Doh, and Oscar.
"It was great to see the kids enjoying themselves and the staff even joined in on the fun as we got our own faces painted!”
