A LOCAL food charity was saying "laskavo prosymo" to Ukrainian families new to the community at the weekend as it hosted a family fun day.

The Ukrainian term for "welcome" was heard at the Old Kilpatrick Food Parcels hub on Station Road as the charity greeted several new families who had spent the last 12 months living on a cruise ship in Edinburgh.
