A WARRANT was issued for a man's arrest after he failed to turn up to his court hearing this week.
John Malcolm, from Radnor Park, was due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on August 15 to be sentenced over a series of thefts in Clydebank and Dumbarton.
The 45-year-old, of Burnside Court, admitted to stealing a bicycle on November 12 last year at Market Village on Sylvania Way South.
He then stole a quantity of bed linen on February 1 this year from the Co-op on Sylvania Way before nicking a number of goods from Asda at St James Retail Park in Dumbarton less than three weeks later on February 22.
At Dumbarton Sheriff Court this week his solicitor Lauren Kerr couldn't explain his absence.
Sheriff Lindsey Kooner issued a warrant for his arrest.
