A pub has put out an urgent appeal to locate the owner of a lost phone - as the constant ringing is "doing their nut in".
Bosses at Bowling's the Bay Inn have even resorted to piling cushions on top of the irritating mobile in the hope of drowning out the persistent caller.
The lost handset was found in nearby Old Kilpatrick by a good samaritan and handed into the popular boozer but staff have been unable to answer the phone due to the screen being smashed.
Now, Bay manager Kirstin Savage desperately called for anyone who has recently misplaced their phone to come get it - quick.
She told the Clydebank Post: "I’m being honest, it’s been a mad long weekend with everything going wrong, equipment breaking down.
"And then my neighbour brings in this object from the next village.
"Whoever's phone it is is certainly popular but we just can't pick it up as the screen is smashed."
Kirstin added if the owner can describe the phone to her then she will happily hand it over.
The community pub is open between 1pm and 10pm during the week.
