There were celebrations in Helensburgh on Tuesday night as Scott McTominay stunned Spain, sending Scotland top of their European Championship qualifying group with a 2-0 win.
The 26-year-old, who was born in Lancaster, is eligible to play for Scotland through his dad, who hails from Helensburgh.
He made his debut for the team against Costa Rica in 2018, and has since picked up 39 caps for the country.
McTominay’s goals in the seventh and 51st minutes saw Scotland secure their first win over the Spaniards since 1984.
Hampden was rocking as the Tartan Army watched the former World and European champions struggle to make their mark.
The Manchester United midfielder has so far racked up four goals in two games during Scotland's qualifying campaign, having also scored twice in the side's 3-0 win against Cyprus at Hampden on Saturday.
He will look to continue his fine international form when Scotland take on Norway on June 17 and Georgia on June 20.
