WILKO is launching a new click-and-collect service for the first time at all of its stores across the UK – including its Clydebank branch.

The household retailer’s new service has been created in an effort to make it “easier than ever” for customers to shop for the items they need.

It follows a number of other changes including a ‘pick a day/time’ delivery, creating third-party parcel collection points at selected stores, reducing the price of home delivery options, and introducing Klarna as a payment option on Wilko’s website.

The new click-and-collect service offers a convenient way for shoppers to pick up everyday essentials such as cleaning products, toiletries, and hardware during one trip.

Free collection will be offered on all click-and-collect orders with items ready to pick up in-store within three hours.

To use the service visit Wilko’s website HERE and shop online as normal – selecting a participating store.

Once you have completed the order, the chosen shop will prepare it and a ‘ready to collect’ email will be sent to your inbox as soon as everything is good to go.

Just pop along to the store at the Clyde Shopping Centre on Sylvania Way and head to the order collection point to pick up the parcel.

Ben Exall, digital director at Wilko, said: “This is an exciting addition to Wilko and offers customers more flexibility than ever when it comes to shopping with us.

“We’re proud to have already rolled this out across over half of our stores nationwide via two initial trials and, thanks to fantastic customer demand and feedback, we’re thrilled to be bringing click and collect to over 400 locations nationwide.”
