A DRIVER was stopped in Clydebank this morning due to concerns over the icy condition of their car.
Officers from Police Scotland's Road Policing Unit in Dumbarton spotted the motorist during their daily road check.
Police said the driver of the vehicle thought they could defrost their windscreen whilst driving.
They were issued with a conditional offer of fixed penalty.
Officers have issued a reminder to road users that they must defrost their windscreen before setting off.
