A CELEBRITY charity football team are heading to Clydebank in aid of a local man who has terminal cancer.
Dukla Pumpherson, a group of ex-professionals, local and national celebrities and sportsmen, will play at the Drumchapel Amateurs park in Duntocher on December 4 in honour of George Scott.
Ex-professional footballers such as John McDonald (Rangers) Gerry McCabe (Clydebank) Stevie Craig (Motherwell) Kenny Brannigan ( Kilmarnock ) Grant Tierney (Partick Thistle) and Ally Graham (Clydebank) will play a George Scott XI made up of local players who once played with George.
On the day, there will also be raffle prizes and auctions to raise money for St Margaret’s Hospice, which will have donation buckets around the park and in the clubhouse.
Entry fee is £3.
