A MAN threatened workers during an armed robbery at a shop in the Clyde shopping centre.
The incident saw the man enter the shop on Sylvania Way around 9.10am this morning (October 1) before threatening staff with a knife.
He then made off on foot towards the Forth and Clyde Canal after stealing a sum of cash worth a two figure sum.
Detectives are appealing for information from the witnesses and the public after the robbery.
He is described as being around 40-years-old, approximately 5ft 9in tall and of medium build and speaking with a local Glasgow accent.
He was wearing a black tracksuit, dark New York Yankees baseball cap and multi-coloured ski mask.
Police have confirmed that nobody was injured during the incident.
Detective Constable Catriona MacQueen of Clydebank Police Station said: “Nobody was injured during this incident but it was a frightening experience for the staff members involved.
“We are working to identify the man involved and would urge anyone who has any information or who believes they may have seen him to let us know."
