THE Cove and Kilcreggan fund-raising branch of the RNLI is continuing its 40th birthday celebrations with a street market in Kilcreggan this weekend.
Aiming to repeat the success of a similar event in April, the market, taking place on Saturday, August 13, will incorporate the usual favourites, including baking, plants, produce and goods.
It will also be the first opportunity for customers to get their hands on the branch’s newly produced packs of notelets.
Photographed and designed by both Gavin and Louise Walker, the cards show Kilcreggan Pier, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year, with the Helensburgh lifeboat approaching.
The market is open from 10am-1pm and the organisers say that donations of plants, produce and baking on the day would be appreciated.
