THREE men have been arrested and one taken to hospital after a report of a disturbance in a Drumry street last night.

Emergency services were called to the scene in the Onslow Road area after the alarm was raised at around 8.35pm on Wednesday (July 27). 

Locals reported seeing a heavy police presence in the area.

A 49-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment to a facial injury.

Police confirmed that three men aged 26, 48, and 55, have been arrested and charged in connection with the alleged incident. 

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 8.35pm on Wednesday, July 27, to a report of disturbance in the Onslow Road area of Clydebank.

“A 49-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with a facial injury.

“Three men, aged 26, 48, and 55, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.”
