A permanent museum display telling the story of the Clydebank Blitz is set to be approved by West Dunbartonshire Council.
The museum, planned for the renovated basement of Clydebank Library, hopes to build on the success of local artist Tom McKendrick’s display held in the town hall's museum between March and April this year.
If given the green light by councillors at the cultural committee on June 29, work on the exhibition - which would include a roll of honour of those killed as a result of the bombings - would begin on preparing the space for the permanent exhibition in late summer.
