IT was all go at Holm Park last weekend for Clydebank FC’s youngsters.

The club’s 2014 players took part in their first festival on Saturday, June 11 boasting an impressive turnout.

Twenty-six teams from across the country including Drumchapel United, Drumchapel Amateurs, Dumbarton United, and Knightswood FC all turned up to play.

They were supported by friends and family members who took a keen interest in the talented young footballers on display throughout the day.

Despite the less than ideal weather, the teams braved the elements to learn and develop on their skills.

The day was hailed a “great success” in a statement posted to Clydebank FC’s 2014s Twitter page.

It reads: “Clydebank 2014s held their first ever football festival on Saturday with 26 teams turning up to brave that weather.

“Big thank you to all the teams, coaches, parents, and especially the kids for making the day a great success.”
