A 14-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged in connection with a hoax call made to a primary school in Knightswood.

The Post previously reported pupils in Corpus Christi Primary were evacuated from their classrooms after a threatening call was made on Wednesday, May 11.

Searches were carried out before children returned to their classes.

Chief Inspector Paul Douglas said: “We takes hoax calls extremely seriously and will exhaust all avenues in tracing those responsible.

"They divert police resources and cause considerable disruption and alarm to the general public.”
