A NEW sports team is hosting a charity coffee morning in Clydebank this weekend.

Australian Rules football team Glasgow Sharks are hosting a coffee morning tomorrow at Clydebank Community Sports Hub to raise money for the MS Society Scotland.

The event which will take place from 10am and the team is looking to greet the community as well as raise some money.

John McIntyre, club president, told the Post: "This will be the first series of fund-raising events the club are partcipating in to achieve our 2022 goal of raising £6,000 for the charity.

"It is a great way for the community to engage with us and get us started. All we ask is for a donation to th charity and you can take what you like and chat to us about our campaign.

"We are looking forward to meeting the Clydebank community."

The club will be offering teas, coffees, and a wide range of cakes, biscuits and other sweet treat goodies for everyone to enjoy.

They are also looking for new players to join their men and women squad.
