TALENTED amateur actors - and their no-less-talented backstage team - will be getting Knightswood into the seasonal spirit with their version of a much-loved Disney classic this week.

KCC Pantomime are putting on live performances of Beauty and the Beast at Knightswood Congregational Church at 7.30pm for three days beginning November 24 with a matinee show at 1.30pm on Saturday November 27.

During the interval there will also be a tuck shop and tearoom for guests.

Sheila Josey, the director of the show told the Post: “I’m producer, marketing, wardrobe and in the cast too this year, so it’s a bit mental for me but it’s all worth it. All profits go back into church for future events.

“We know how much our community loves our performances and we are so excited to put on this performance for everyone.”

Tickets for all the shows have sold out, but there are a few spots left if you arrive at the church hall, in Killoch Drive, on the night.
