ARTWORK by a talented Clydebank youngster is to go on public display in a bid to discourage smoking in children’s play areas.
Orlagh Prior, a P5 pupil at Whitecrook Primary, was one of two winners in a poster competition organised by West Dunbartonshire Council to promote the message.
The initiative, which saw Lauri Doherty from Our Lady and St Patrick’s High in Dumbarton chosen as the second winner, is part of the council’s substance use prevention strategy to address the harm caused by alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.
