A TEENAGER was allegedly caught dangerously driving an off-road bike in Clydebank.
According to police the 18-year-old was found to have no licence or insurance when he was stopped by officers.
The bike was seized under road traffic legislation and the teenager is now the subject of a report to the procurator fiscal.
Police say they have received " number of reports" from members fo the public in the Clydebank area alerting them to anti-social behaviour in and around the town involving off-road bikes.
They called the "behaviour unacceptable and dangerous" and thanked the public on social media for sharing their concerns to them.
In a statement on the Argyll and West Dunbartonshire Police Division's Facebook page, a spokesperson said: "We would like to thank the public for phoning us with their concerns and would ask, if you have information on others who are doing this, please contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where you can report this anonymously and in confidence."
