As a child, there was nothing better than looking through the Guiness Book of Records to see which one you could attempt to break.
Among the hundreds of unusual and interesting titles achieved by people all around the world, you will find one that was made in Clydebank.
Craig Clarke holds the record for the fastest half marathon in Highland dress which he completed in 1 hr 43 min 44 secs.
He completed his record in a true Scotsman fashion whilst fund-raising for the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow.
At the time of completeing the record he said he chose this particular charity because the hospital had been there for his children and his friend's children in the past.
He successfully broke the record on March 25, 2018.
The attempt took place at the Balloch to Clydebank Half Marathon in order to promote fund-raising for the Children's Hospital.
