A month after re-opening Cameron House Hotel has shared a further glimpse of its newly refurbished suites.

The luxurious Loch Lomond hotel reopened on September 20, having been closed since a fire broke out in December 2017.

The hotel has undergone significant refurbishment and the new-look accommodation offers 140 guest bedrooms, including 24 luxury suites.

New features include the Lobby Bar and the completely remodelled Cameron Leisure Club and The Tavern Bar.

One of the new highlights is The Cameron Suite, which is located in the Auld House and is elevated over two floors.

The suite is, according to the hotel's website, "one of our most grand" and boasts "the finest of features and amenities and with coveted views of Loch Lomond from two private terraces".

Highlights of the suite also include chauffeur transfer, within a 75-mile radius; unpacking, pressing and shoe polishing service; pre-dinner canapes served to suite; Hunter wellies for use during stay; and complimentary minibar.

But staying in such luxury will set two guests back around £3,000 a night, according to the hotel's online booking system.

The wider Cameron House Resort is also home to a spa and rooftop infinity pool, an 18-hole championship golf course, and a 234-berth marina.

Dumbarton and Vale of Leven Reporter:

The resort's owners secured planning permission in early 2020 for a £17.5million extension to the hotel, including a ballroom and 68 bedrooms.

And this week, the luxurious hotel is understood to be set to host delegates for the COP26 climate change conference in Glasgow.

No rooms can be booked at the hotel – at least via Cameron House’s official website – from October 29 until November 2.

COP26 takes place in the city from October 31 to November 12, with more than 25,000 delegates from 120 countries heading for the area.
