Whitecrook residents have gone wild as the area gets a mention on the BBC's weather report.
The forecast, presented by broadcasting veteran Judith Ralston, shows it was a mild night with the mercury reaching 12 degrees Celsius.
Locals have taken to social media to show their excitement with one describing it as “Fandabidozi”
Another joked: “The tourists will be flooding in!”.
One woman felt nostalgic and said: “Saw this too and must admit to having a wee smile as I grew up in Whitecrook.”
While someone else pointed out: “House prices will rocket now”.
A BBC spokesperson told the Post: “The BBC is for everyone, so we’re blown away to have had such sunny responses from the residents of Whitecrook to last week’s forecast.”
