A WEST Dunbartonshire social enterprise is set to benefit from more than £70,000 in National Lottery funding.

Young Start, delivered by The National Lottery Community Fund, awards dormant bank account funding to projects that help young people reach their full potential.

Sixteen youth-led projects across Scotland will share £1.1m of Young Start funding as part of the scheme.

In West Dunbartonshire, Clifftop Projets will receive £77,881 to see the continuation of the existing Art Hub weekly creative sessions for primary school age children and the creation of new monthly youth creative evenings programme aimed at young people aged between 13 and 25 years of age.

The project will also create a youth coordinator post designed specifically to help a local young person build relevant skills and experience so that they can pursue a career in the arts and creative industries.
