A YELLOW warning has been issued by the Met Office for two days of severe thunderstorms across the west of Scotland, including West Dunbartonshire and Argyll and Bute.
The alert has been posted by the forecasters and is in place from 4am until midnight on both Friday, August 6 and Saturday, August 7.
The forecasters say there is some "uncertainty' in the exact locations, but say places are likely to see "severe thunderstorms" throughout that period.
The Met Office says there is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded quickly, with damage to some buildings from floodwater, lightning strikes, hail or strong winds.
