PRIMARY seven pupils at St Joseph’s Primary in Faifley said a fond – and in some cases a tearful – goodbye on the last day of the summer term recently as they prepare to go on to ‘big school’ after the holidays.
The pupils were presented with their customised ‘leavers’ hoodies’ shortly before the end of term, with the school’s parent council meeting half of the cost of the must-have garment for any 2021 school leaver.
The youngsters will start the new secondary school term on Tuesday, August 17 - but not before they’ve all enjoyed a well earned summer break.
