A CLYDEBANK man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in his own home at the weekend.

Police say four men got out of a vehicle outside Garscadden View in North Drumry at around 11.20pm on Sunday, July 25.

The men are understood to have entered the close before forcing their way into the man’s home.

According to police, the man was attacked with a knife during the incident. 

An ambulance was called and the man was taken to hospital, but it’s understood he suffered only minor injuries and was released after receiving treatment.

Detectives have launched an investigation into the incident and are appealing for witnesses.
