A MAN has appeared in court charged with trying to murder another man at a Clydebank car wash last week.
Kamil Nadir, from Glasgow, appeared in private at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Friday, July 24 on a charge of attempted murder and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner.
The 51-year-old made no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination. He was remanded in custody.
A vehicle reportedly collided with the Your Local Car Wash Tyre Fit garage in Dumbarton Road at Duntocher Road, Dalmuir, around 12.45pm on Thursday, July 22.
A 36-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Police declared the car wash unsafe and had the building evacuated.
