A car has been stolen and torched in the latest in a series of fire-raising incidents across Clydebank.
The incident happened just before 4am on Monday, when a grey Skoda Kamiq was set alight by firebugs near the Park Court high-rise flats on Littleholm Place in Mountblow.
The vehicle had been reported stolen from the Risk Street area, a short distance away, at around 1.30am.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a car on fire at Dalmuir Park in Clydebank shortly before 4am on Monday, July 19.
"The vehicle – a grey Skoda Kamiq - had been reported stolen from the Risk Street area a short time earlier.
"The fire is being treated as deliberate and enquiries are ongoing.
"Anyone with information can call 101, quoting incident 0247 of July 19."
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 3.57am on Monday, July 19 to reports of a building fire at Park Court, Littleholm Place, Mountblow, Clydebank.
"Operations Control mobilised four appliances and one aerial vehicle to the scene and firefighters extinguished a fire affecting one car.
"There were no reported casualties and crews left after ensuring the area was made safe."
In separate incidents, a digger and van were set alight outside the Lennox View tower block in Radnor Park on Thursday, while a generator was torched and a yard vandalised at Lusset Glen in Old Kilpatrick at around 9.15pm on Monday, July 12.
